“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.” — Thomas Jefferson
We all know those who can spend their entire day in a deep soft chair trying to decide who they are, trying to decide what to do next, trying to decide what they want to do, trying to decide all sorts of things. But I notice by them doing just that, they are less effective and capable as human beings and their sense of self trust disappears. This is called decision misery. You become miserable avoiding making decisions. I have been there at times in my life. Thank goodness I learned a cure called action.
I learned I can solve all this worry and decision making by taking action. By admiring action. By having action plans, by asking, whenever stuck, What’s My next Action? And then doing that action NOW. Action. Movement. Decisive energy. Solves everything! Now I can leave the whole decison making thing to people who want to remain in that miserable chair. List your first action, and whatever it is, DO IT NOW!
